The Game

by Melissa   Feb 9, 2007

If you will not

let your armor down
just a tittle,
even an...............inch would do
I cannot play efficiently

You see I'm not the kind of girl
who moves without heart
in fact every ruse is instinctive
by her nature

And I'd like to know if my opponent
is simply that
or can we start over as two
who sports the sweet uniform
of togetherness?

Stunning man...how do you do it?

Have you considered the posibility of getting published? I'm so not kidding, Melissa.

And I'd love to get to know you. So let me know if I can. (I'm only 16, and none of those men you describe so well in your poems, who offer coffees at the pretence of something else...Lol)

One more thing...can you tell me how you can write SO many poems so fast?
I mean...they all have this impeccable quality..and each one is so well concentrated full of ideas and thoughts and emotions...you must really think a lot...ha ha..
Cause for me, I write...but the concentration for a good poem develops once in a while in my head. And only then do I write. And that averages to a meagre 2 poems a month. How do you write so many, and are able to maintain that quality?

Tell me if you can. :)

Take care, and thanks in advance

Wonderfully done, but I have come to expect nothing less than beauty and power to flow from your pen.
