Ice Princess

by MyDevotion   Feb 9, 2007

Sometimes
you have no idea
what it means to me
when you are here

The times we have
the times we've had
the good and the bad
the times i was happy
other times sad

The feeling I felt
around you was heaven sent
no one other than you
could make me feel this brand new

Then
you said you hit a wall
something made you cry
someone made you fall

Was it me
did I make your tears pour
piercing so violently
entering your chest
drying your heart
tearing you apart

Did you drown in my pain
was our good times in vein
tell me now
so to stop pulling me down
I prefer smiles over frowns

Sometimes
I find you alone
afraid and cold
holding a blade of sorts
having visions of death
black comes over you
the grim reaper at your neck
cruel words on your breathe

You aim down
a frost bit princess
wearing your bloody crown
your arm is visible
sleeve pulled away
will I lose you today?

Then
you think twice
before you take life's last bite
you think of me
and of setting yourself free
my thought vanishes from your mind
you decide it is your time

The sun sets
frost covers the ground
where am I to go now
a timeless love frozen in ice
a passionate fire once burned inside

I lay down beside
her grave so cold and white
it begins to snow
i grow very cold
skin turns black
I shall not turn back

An Ice Prince
frozen in time with love's bliss
now cold in the ground
with the princess he's missed.
