Black Rose

by Jessica Dygos   Feb 10, 2007

It's because they have such a dark brillance
Like death reborn into happiness
Wild and mysterious
Thrilling to the touch
They're almost seductive
Passionate yet lustful
A gothic romance
Tormenting to the soul
Like an arrow struck heart
Piercing pain
Yet the beauty is so magical
Forever forgotten in the rainbow like colours
Though the rarest of its kind
Its beauty is seen
As tarnishes silver
Ugly and untouched
Shown no care
But still carries its fire within
Intriguing to anyone
Who dares to understand the hidden beauty
Inflamed darkness
Leaving you breathless
The beauty of such a delicate thing
Can take over the purest mind
