Look At Me...

Look at me and tell me what you see. You see a happy, carefree, normal teenage girl. But I'm telling you that your eyes have deceived you. Because behind all the fake laughs and all the fake smiles is a girl wanting to be free and remember what it's like to be happy. She's trying to forget the past that always seems to reappear, but no matter how hard she tries, it finds her once again and drags her back into the darkness where her pain and hate lurks that she has grown so adapted to. It's like she's never gonna escape. It will always find her and crush every bit of happiness that's left so she's giving in and letting it consume what's left of her once so pure soul.
