The Bottle

by Mousie   Feb 14, 2007

A husband sees
A battered wife,
Bottle's the cause
It's a stranger's life.

A mother sees
A troubled girl,
Bottle's the answer
A mixed up world.

A man sees
A shattered dream,
Bottle will solve it
A chance to scream.

A child sees
A soothing drink,
Bottle is there
Don't stop to think.

A world sees
The angel of death,
Bottle has lured it
The pain bequeathed.

Short and simple, but also very lovely. The emotion of the poem was strong. *5/5*

Aghh. A simple poem. There doesn't seem to be a complex feel to it what so ever, and I think on this site that is for the best. And for the subject, it will get the message across more.
There's nothing really critisism wise I can say because it is such a simple poem....
    Thanks for sharing.

Ooh yeah...if you could look at my recent poems in return please, any will do. Thanks.
