I Want You To Know..

Mom, I want you to know you mean everything to me
And I'd trade you for nothing in this world
And even when I get on your nerves
I hope I'm still your little girl

I have to say you've made me who I am
All the little things that you've done
If it wasn't for you, mommy
My life would have no sun

And when I grow older and wiser
I'll still look to you for advice
And I'll think about our many times
And all those dumb little fights

You make me smile more than anyone
And I'll love you until the day of my death
And I hope you know I'll stay by your side
Until my very last breath

So, I have to say I love you mommy
And my love will never go away
I will love you forever and always
Until my very last day

    Aww it's great you're so close to your mom. Turst me, it sucks when you don't get along. Beautifully written, I hope you let her read it. And I'm sorry I haven't commented lately, my name on this is so messed up and it won't show any of the new poems I post, but I'm trying to fix it and hopefully I can. Again great poem. Best wishes.
