Forever Grateful

God decided to grant me an angel
to help me through all the bad,
to put a smile on my face
and wipe my tears when I'm sad.

He gave me a token of His love
in the form of a wonderful young man
who waited on my heart's doorstep
until I eventually let him in.

Everyday I'm grateful, love,
that He led me back to you.
