Blood-red Stars In Heartbeat

by Cooper   Feb 14, 2007

Sundown flares in fragmented smiles,
masterpieces broken, though not unspoken,
graphic melodies delicately placed upon Her face.
Exquisite stars burn in Her eyes
glistening on brilliant seas for miles;
encryptions speak of Her an angelic grace.
Those stars beat in tune my heart,
beautiful blood red in the skies,
written in form and color, like Aphrodite art.

Eclipse thy eyes,
let softly the brilliance of starlit skies
breathe benevolently as we sleep,
tuned to the heartbeat clasped in hands.
Constellations you've made complete,
brilliance shone upon all lands,
to the blood red skies and stars do our scars retreat.

Forever is our day,
eternally soothed from Love's decay.
Crimson morning suns,
burials of forgotten hearts and chosen ones,
lights pools in your withered rose bouquet,
singing gently upon the horizon of spades;
The blood red stars prefer I play with hearts,
our poison and cure delineated in Valentine's shades.

Let us dance to the passion appeal,
end the audience sorrow with the night of tomorrow
when we shall bed in blood red stars,
even scarlet and ruby, more lustrous than Mars.
You are my angel, a wound healing saint,
and carving scars deep within my heart; with pain ever faint, and Love aglow,
beaming high upon our heavenly mountain plateau.
These days are ours, free from the fires and ghostly bars,
to cherish the clocks we spend,
and romance galaxies would despise,
Just two more blood red stars, lost in eternal skies.

***Okay, yeah, it's long. But it's Valentine's Day, and I wanted to show someone how much they meant to me; the perfect occasion to write how I felt. I'll be making you read this, so...Kayla, I love you. I love you more than anyone in the world. You're beautiful, amazing, and overall a wonderfully unique person. I want to be with you for as long as we can, because no one else makes me happier.
Thanks for reading, to the rest of you***
