Dream (of me)

by NeferNoir   Feb 17, 2007

Walk on the ocean,
I bow my head in defeat.
I won't drown,
I'm already dead.
Lifeless.
Fade.

Like a song in the wind,
you came and left.
Sing to me.
Are you real?
Skeptic.
Lied.

Close your sleepy eyes,
they can't see me.
Your sweet screams,
falls on deaf ears.
Emptied.
Silent.

Rose thorns,
stuck in my throat.
If you love me,
I can only cry in return.
Speechless.
Cursed.

Sworn to an epicedium,
I can't touch him without kiling him.
I'll watch you from twilight.
Dream.

^^My favourite part of the poem. It's beautiful..just like the whole piece is.
I don't even know what I could say that could even begin to sum up what I feel about this piece...I don't think mere words would do it justice.

    This is frigging amazing.

It's brilliant. Dark, beautiful, and full of imagery. And such an interesting style, good job.
