What becomes of snow?

by Hatori   Feb 17, 2007

Snow surrounds those,
Through the depths of winter,
Those who are desolated,
And those who are forlorn.

The notion of hope,
Is usually forgotten,
Buried too deep,
Under the force,
Of the undying snow.

Undying,
You say,
May be untrue,
For a question I ask,
Is "What becomes of snow?"

A simple answer,
That hides the crude winter...

Spring;
Even when you feel consumed,
Drained of hope,
And concealed by pain,
The snow will fade,
Fade to Spring,
Even if it feels,
As if nothing can change.

The seemingly infinite snow,
Will surely melt,
Winter will fall to Spring,
And hope will once more,
Be redefined.

Um. My apologies. But I'm afraid I don't find its flow particularly irregular or unsmooth. Perhaps that's just me. :P

As always, your works never cease to induce a sense of enchantment in me. I really like that! Thanks for sharing this thoughtful poem of yours.

I tried to make it flow, but it seemed like I was changing the story idea too much. I think that I could write it better, so look out for "What becomes of snow" *Better version* :D

I liked this one too. It blended together so nicely. And the message was true.
