Break-up

When you break up with that special person,
They leave a void that's hard to fill.
And sometimes people get hurt,
Whether it be or not you will.

And in what I had,
Nothing went wrong.
It's just that our distance apart,
Was simply too long.

But i still have no regrets,
And she'll be with me always.
In my heart and mind,
And through each and every day.

And I just want to thank her again,
For staying by my side.
I guess that's true friendship,
Friendship that has never died.
