Vocabulary Test

Inspire me.
Let me let it all out.
Let my pen put on paper
What my voice won't pronounce.
And if it takes me all night
The I'll spend the night writing.
The dark circles 'neath my eyes,
Will be proof that I'm not lying.
For the paper, torn and crumpled,
Your eyes will never see.
Can't scour a page for errors,
If that page, you'll never reach.
And as my only witness,
The moon will calmly stand.
She'll tell the tired jury
All about my pen's demands.
About poems that keep me up late.
Clawing their way out.
Agonizing over details till,
It's right, without a doubt.
