The Blade That Took Her Life

by KemistryKia   Feb 21, 2007

The blade leaves the skin
the damage is already done within
the tears run down the face
as if a fire escape

the sirens are loud
now there is a crowd
all the people came to see
what happened to auntie

the soul blends with the wind
the blood blends with the timing
timing of her finding
finding of her lost mind

i walk in the back
because we made a pact
that i would never come again
with me not knowing, her soul would whisk away

someone walks in
i creep as if on pins
someone hears me
i gasp for air barely

they tell she's gone
but i can see
i can see
life killed my auntie

i scream once more
I'm pushed out the door
i can no longer see...

as they tell me its alright
i cry in fright
for all i can see
is i killed auntie
by supplying her with the knife
the knife that took her life

i fell to the ground
lost for sound
then a gentle breeze
fills me with ease
my auntie is now happy and free
and thats enough closure for me
