Hurt inside

by Emily   Feb 22, 2007

She is dented and bruised
From all the pain she has been put through
She wishes to fly away
Far far away above the clouds
Across the oceans
Never having to face another day
Everyone has lied to her
Everyone has neglected her
She hides her true self
What has she done to herself
She fights to stay alive ever day
She tries in so many ways
Can't you see she is not ok?
Tears falling from those gorgeous eyes
Blood dripping by those thighs
She can not hold on any longer
See what you did?
Now as you hear those church bells ringing
And the chorus singing
Do not say it was all her fault
It was your very own assault
