THIS IS NOT MY BEST POEM. I TRIED BASING IT ON BULLYING BUT IM GOING TO WRITE ANOTHER POEM WHICH WILL BE BETTER!!
Words Hurt- Bullying
The taunting of a playground,
And a screaming filled bus,
Everyday there will be someone hurt,
But the words we say.
We cannot control other people's emotions,
And we say we can't control their words,
Some will sneak out,
Some will stay in their mind.
So many kids will learn to hurt today,
By the bullies they never saw,
After today they'll go home and cry,
And wonder why some people just have to be cruel.
Those who are afraid to go against you,
Will join the crowd,
Those who are just plain different,
Will be the next target.
So many younger kids,
Are taking after their brothers and sisters,
They think it's the right then to do,
If they begin to bully.
You think it may be funny,
To see someone cry,
But you don't stop and think,
Maybe you're the weakest one of them all.
You bully because it makes them feel strong,
It fees like you have the power,
No one would dare stand up to you,
Or would they?
Bullying is happening so often around us,
Because so many kids feel the need,
Of growing that bigger fire,
To keep them feeling better then everyone else.
But it doesn't get you anywhere,
It just pulls you behind even further,
Even though they are coward of you,
They are the ones who get further in life.
