Him

He was our savour,
he did us a favour.
He gave his life,
he took our struggle and strife.
Now he's gone,
it all going wrong.
People are leaving,
but some are still believing.
Lets not forget who loves us the most,
he's the mystery letter in the post.
Through him we are pure,
through him we can find the cure.
To be forgiven is our greatest need,
for deep down we all bleed.
Let him take you to where you belong,
let him take you through the wrong.
Up to the heavens we shall go,
and never again shall we feel low.
