I Can't Say No to You

by Tasha   Feb 27, 2007

Cuts and bruises on my arms and legs to you.
Plaster on the bandages to hide my scars for you.
All along my body tells about you.
This pain upon me, of how I love you.

Scrapes of how I tried scratching you out.
Abrasions where I tried wearing you out.
The small incisions to try and figure you out.
Tear me apart, because I can't get out.

Slits hidden to show I can't let you go.
Marks that make me realize how far I will go.
The cuts with meaningless meanings that can go.
With the last slice still to go.

Now I'm injured here on the floor again.
Hurt from trying to let you go again.
I wish this wound was the last again.
But as long as there's you, I'll be harmed again. -

This is such a sad poem. I'm sorry you're going through such a difficult time, but please, if everything in this poem is true, stop hurting yourself. Whoever this person is, they aren't worth hanging onto if they cause you to do things like that to yourself. Hope everything works out.
