And It's Just An Untold Love Story Part One

by Jenni Marie   Feb 27, 2007

There's this boy I know
Who's in love with a girl
She has absolutely no idea
To him, she means the world.

He's loved her his entire life
He'd do anything for her
Wanting to make his love known
Yet telling her? He would never dare.

This boy is so terribly scared
Of facing his love's rejection
He'll keep his love hidden
Though She has all of his affection.

There's this girl I know
Who's deeply in love with a boy
Yet she won't tell him how she feels
For fear of her heart being played like a toy.

This boy and girl
Are the best of friends
Spending every minute together
Going out at the weekends.

Always laughing and joking
Telling their deepest fears
Sharing countless laughter
Wiping away each other's tears.

But the deepest secret
Is the one in their hearts
The fact that they love each other
And have done since the very start.

One night the girl sat crying
Her secret was tearing her apart
How could she love someone so deeply
Yet have such a shattered heart?

In the house next door
The boy sat alone
Tears on his face
Staring at the phone.

The girl sat against the wall
Hair covering her face
Phone cradled in her hand
She was slowly falling from grace.

The boy hurled his phone at the wall
His fiery temper did not quell
How could he love her so deeply
When he felt like he was in h e l l?

The girl had kept her secret so long
Now it was driving her insane
Wasn't love supposed to be happy?
All she felt was a heart full of pain.

The boy stared out his window
Stars were twinkling in the sky
He laid his head on his knees
And let out a heartbreaking sigh.

The girl stared blankly into space
One thought flashing in her head
Smiling as she remembered
Wonderful thins he'd said.

The boy was nostalgic
Of happier, simple times
Remembering when he never thought
'Oh, how I wish she was mine.'

One hopeless girl, one hopeless boy
United by their love, misery and pain
They had everything to live for
Yet felt like they had nothing to gain.

Just a few hours later their parents got a shock
A memory, which would go with them to their graves
The boy surrounded by pill bottles, the girl a noose round her neck
These were two children that couldn't be saved.
