One night long

One night long
I sat on the window
I stared at the sky
While listening to the radio

The sky looked lovely
While the stars are shinning
I counted them
With very great timing

I stared at them
All night long
I admired them
Some what too long

Soon enough
I fell asleep
Then i woke up
And started to weep

I didn't know where I was
Nor did I know what to do
Then i noticed
I was over the moon

I was so happy
Because finally
I was up there close
So very close

It was the best
Out of all the rest
I didn't know how to explain
How it beat the rest

Now I'm happy
As happy as can be
I think ill take a walk
And feel the night breeze.
