Time to Move on

You were the one who made me feel like I should,
You treated me nice, thought you treated me good.
All I did was show you my unconditional affection,
You were my idea of what is complete perfection.

I have given up lingering memories haze,
I put all your pictures and everything ablaze.
I've stopped living in the past, in the memories,
No longer will I cry as I pray on my knees.

I see who I am when looking at my reflection,
I need someone to give me more attention.
So now I can see, that it's time to move on,
As far as I'm concerned, you've always been gone.
