Struggling to be seen

by Daisy if you do   Mar 1, 2007

Struggling to be seen,
in a world where few redeem

My past will not haunt me,
I refuse to let it win

Gonna start all over,
and let the healing begin

My soul has been an anchor,
harboring on defeat

Selling my soul to regret,
I never have believed

In things like myself,
only lies and deceit

The darkness falls around me,
as I hear the pouring rain

Reminds me of myself,
shelling out the blame

Teardrops on my heartache,
clinging to the pain

Sounds of thunder echo,
as I'm driving through the rain

Leaving it all behind me,
looking for the dawn

Time is slowly passing,
as I sit here driving on

Days are finally near me,
I can handle it on my own

It may be raining now
but I continue driving on.
