Two sides of fat

by Iola   Mar 2, 2007

Underneath his layers of protection,
Lies a hansom knight in white armor.
He had mystery and all my affection,
The one who made me feel much calmer.

But through the years of sweat and tears,
His Adam's apple melted away.
Replaced by insecurity, jealousy and fears,
I found myself staring at a larger version today.

And with each pound the romance died within,
As physical attraction becomes a curse.
No more nights of ecstatic satisfaction,
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse.

So the more you expand the more I diet,
To remind you of our passionate times.
You know my thoughts but I'll rather keep quite,
Aren't these some of our most explicable crimes?
