Fountain of Love

by LadyPearl   Mar 3, 2007

Water, water, of Aphrodite's love
Reveal the forbidden from heaven above
Come to me as goblets filled with peace
Come to me before these dreams cease

I crave for his hunger, his watchful eyes
I dream of red satin and passionate cries
Into my heart like a river of gold
What sinful fate let these feelings unfold

Far from wisdom to fall head over heels
Unlocking iron for all heart-breakers to steal
Should I raise this cup and drink my fill
Risking my soul for a faint moment of thrill

Yes indeed, if he embraces me so
And care not for a beauty-less crow
Drink I say, to our resounding love
Drink I say, My dear beloved
