Into Waves

by James Nappo   Mar 9, 2007

The rain came down,
it was a hurricane.
The wind came and blew through,
leaving you both feeble and untrue.
But like a bolt of lighting,
you were gone.

The sun will come shining down,
shining down on you.
But it'll have to wait,
because you're too far gone.

The days went by,
but still no finds.
Searching every crevice,
leaving friends far behind.

The sun will come shining down,
shining down on you.
But it'll have to wait,
because you're too far gone.

The rain came down,
it was a hurricane.
I found you on a cliff.
Take my hand and stay with me,
but you didn't hear me.
Like a bolt of lighting,
you were gone.
Into the waves below.

The sun will come shining down,
come shining down on you...
