I Shall Believe

Never used to believe before
Eyes had been shut down
That is before a stranger came
Mind was turned around

Plenty mistakes all around us
Drowning the world to insanity
There is sadness, there is hate
What has happened to humanity?

Immediately looked away
Terrified at what has become
An eye for an eye they had said
Turned the fragile body numb

Opened eyes, that stranger did
Open-minded with personality
Never met such a stranger before
One who had strong mentality

No such thing as a human like that
All are false, terrible, all are lies
One that is good does not exist
These eyes see through the disguise

Yet the stranger made one see
That all is not horrible in this place
Even though there is hate in world
Hatred be fixed with a warm embrace

Shall believe in the world
To end what it means to deceive
To love a special stranger darling
To know what it means to believe
