Tears of Joy

by memyselfandI   Mar 10, 2007

Tears falling,
Sisters sobbing,
Brothers weeping,
A Mother grieving,
A son dying.

A Mother crying,
Now has a new son,
Appointed to her,
By a dying one.

He holds her close,
"Everything will be alright",
He trusts his lord,
The one nailed to the cross tonight.

A Lord betrayed by a kiss,
A brothers guiltful panging,
He is now regretting,
Soon to be hanging.

The infernal whips,
Cracking with no mercy,
An innocent man,
Now in agony.

They pierced his sides,
The water spilled,
Tonight a savior,
Has been killed.

A temple has fallen,
To be rebuilt in three days,
The angels will free him,
From death he will be raised.

Tears falling,
Sisters smiling,
Brothers believing,
A mother rejoicing,
A son reborn.
