The darkness will not come back

No matter how hard i try
i cannot say goodbye
the darkness will not come back
into this empty crack
no matter how much i cry
the broken sky won't let me fly
the birds forevor taunt me
their cries in dreams haunt me
no matter how many times i lie
this world will not let me die
my tainted blood refused to spill
and for that reason alone i can not kill
myself

    Good job on this poem, the rhymes were great and the flow was good. I really liked some of the lines you had in this poem, it really had deep meaningful imagery.
