Loosing Yourself

I feel myself slipping away,
I know I'm almost gone,
Nothing can be done now,
Since you left me all alone.
You told me to be stronger,
I told you that I tried,
But now I can't hold on,
I guess maybe I lied.

I am just a ghost,
An empty image of myself,
All I had is lost,
Now that my life is...

the day you said goodbye,
I knew I couldn't stay,
I loved you so much,
Thought you would never go away.
You told me I would forever,
Live on in your heart,
But I can't live in this world,
If we are apart.

Forever left in fear,
I've grown completely numb,
I'm no longer here,
Since the day my life was...

I am so sorry,
That's all I have to say,
You were the only thing,
That made me want to live.
You were my savior,
You rescued my love,
You were my angel,
Sent straight from above.

Now I am loosing,
My ability to breathe,
Beyond two worlds are choosing,
Because it's all...
Over.

    Th words were amazing. it's so sad and full with ur feeling and emotions. the flow was great. i love it. and i can so relate to this but we have to hold on to the ppl around us. be strong. i can so relate to this. i love it.

    Was'nt it Shakespeare who said it is better to have loved and lost than not have loved at all. Out of the emptiness of losing someone you loved, you've given us a gift, a poem that speaks truth. You are seamlessly connected to your feelings and the imagery in your poem connects me with them also. Thank you.

    "Losing Yourself"

    OMFG m'dear, and you said I'm a good writer. This poem is just incredibly touching... it's awesome. It made me read it from start to end, with the gut/heart wrenching feeling in my stomach... It made me relate to it and it was just incredible.
