I wanted to join you

Why'd you leave me,

Most people cried,
Some made a fuss.

But me, I did neither,
I just sat there and stared,
Wondering what your last moments were like,
Was you smiling, or was you scared?

Then I got up,
Headed to my bed,
Fell on the way,
Cut open my head.

Then I got your pictures,

I felt the blood drain down,
Still wishing you was here.

I wanted to join you,
So I grabbed a knife,
Slit my wrist,
Cried into the night.

Waiting to join you,
I hear someone behind,
I see your face,
I thought I was blind.

You said you was ok,
And you helped my wrap my arm,
You said do this no more,

I held you close,
One more last breathe,
You said you loved me,
I heard no beat in your chest.

So I let you go,
To see you never again,
