Daddy's Hands

by No one feels as I do   Apr 4, 2007

Rough at work,
Soft at home,
Folded together,
When he is alone.

Always been there for me,
Through soccer and tee ball,
Helped me up when I fell,
Even if I had to crawl.

They open the Bible,
Then close it again,
Been my worst foe,
And my best friend.

Helped me learn,
Wiped my tears,
Raised me right,
All these years.

Soft as teddy bear,
But more tough than the strongest man,
Nothing more gentle,
Than my Daddy's hands.
