A Plea For Guidance

by vanessarrr   Apr 8, 2004

The world is too big and time is too short.
Breathing tomorrow is coming through
A dark, unpredictable wormhole.
It is crazy to attempt to be content-
To live the life you partly chose.
O, bless the sky that wraps his
Light little fingers around me,
Trapping me into the reality,
Showing me the sense of my existence.

Help me, help me, teach me, please…

Give me thy armor to shield myself.
For melted dreams could kill my hope.
And rays of sorrow might scar my soul.
Though earth welcomes me to a mystery
Of some nameless quest through labyrinths,
I share its every unspoken misery
And smile with its humble victories.
I'll see more with my own eyes and
Savor this life, for I'm still a child.

Help me, help me, guide me please.
