Gray Walls

by Heidi Harover   Mar 16, 2007

This place is empty, the walls are gray.
An echo of nothing, no sites to see.
Somewhere no one would want to stay.

Hoping and wondering if freedom shall be.
There is no life, to die they may.
Waiting and longing to be set free.

All of this is a state of mind.
Another lost wonder, so hard to find.

This place is empty, the walls are gray.
This is how I feel today.
