Letter to a lost friend

What we had wasn't perfect,but it's better then what we have now.

I no longer smile when i hear your voice,
you've stopped answering the phone,
for fear of what will be said.

Through everything,I've forgotten how to forgive you,
and you've forgotten how to love me.

I slowly forget how things once were as I'm
consumed by all the hurt you caused.
You forget what you meant to say as my accusations fill your head.

Things have turned for the worst,
and as i sit here,
starring at the wall, listening to music
that only reminds me of my pain,
i miss you.

I miss how things were, how they should have been.

You don't want me here anymore,
don't want to feel for me any longer.
So this is good-bye my love.
