Winter's Farewell

by MissAlotta   Mar 17, 2007

The sound of the soft spring seeps
Ringing gently within my gist
Within my marrow--soft as velvet
It sleeps--in serene midst

Sweet aroma veils beneath the blossoms
Weary from a lasting winter rest
Soon to unfold--for springs arrival
It blooms into the sweetest zest--

Colors blanket the rolling hill tops--
As seas snuffle the fragrant smell
But for I, Sit upon my porch--
And enjoy a winter's farewell.
