Rolls down her cheek

A moment alone

Leaves her feeling weak

A burden

A life full of shame

She wishes and hopes

That things will change

Another lonely tear

A hopeless star

Another reason to leave

As she looks upon her scars

No one around

Another lonely night

Nightmares fill her head

Dreams full of fright

She wants to believe

That everything will be OK

She hates living in fear

Day after day after day

What was said

What was done

Her feet keep moving

With nowhere to run

Another night passes

With no one there

Filled with stress

But no one to care

She awakes in the morning

Dreading the day

But she'll put on her mask

And pretend every thing's OK

But as the sun sets

Another single tear falls

And she'll go into her depression

Because it's the only one that calls
