Drifting Feelings

She looks at him
and lets out a smile,
but she knows that what she shows
will only last for awhile.
She hides her love
from him and his heart,
just showing false emotions
because she doesn't want them to be torn apart.
She loves him with all her heart
but is always more happy with her friends,
She doesn't want to tell him though
because she doesn't want their love to coem to an end.

She goes day by day
showing him something that isn't there,
he knows what is going on
but he is always getting to scared.
He doesn't want to lose her
or even think of things of that sort,
but as time passes on
he knows that it only gets even worse.
He loves her with everything
and knows that she is the one,
but he doesn't understand why she isn't happy,
doesn't know why the joy is gone.

He asks her whats wrong
since he could tell she was in pain,
but she just looks at him and sighs
because she feels like she is about to lose what she has gained.
She tells him that she doesn't feel the same
and hasn't for the past couple of weeks,
he just looks at her and cries
and questions what made their love so weak.
She explains it to him
and he just sits there and sighs,
then he gets up
and says that his heart has just died.

He gets up
and walks away from the girl,
because he just got heart broken
from the one who always made his world.
He just keeps walking
and never turns back,
but he always questioned himself
what was the one thing his loved lacked...
