On a Night in February

by HuggyQueenofCookies   Mar 26, 2007

Even though it's cold Outside
I still feel warm within
your arms locked around me tight
our breath makes white
puffs in the frozen black night.

We promised to get home
by twenty minutes time
I guess time flew too fast in our silence
because Ma comes walking to us alone
said its been an hour hurry up or catch a cold.

With a series of 'mans!' and sighs
we reluctantly release our hold..
Ma sounds a bit upset, dont push it
anyway, shes leaving at nine
and once shes left the night is yours and mine.
