Another Fallen Angel

by Cheyenne   Mar 27, 2007

She struggles to her feet
Life flings another blow
She collapses on the ground
The tears begin to flow

Her composure fades away
As she begins to fall from grace
Blinded by her pain
Needing to find her place

People talk behind her back
Rumors grab her stares
Stabbing at her heart
Why is life unfair

She scrambles the her feet
And tries to hide her tears
She reaches out for help
Yet I lash out in fear

Another fallen angel
Laying on the ground
Rejected by society
Waiting to be found

Her heart ripped from her chest
A life filled with regret
Will someone come to save her
Another fallen angel

I thought the poem was awesome. It was very deep and the emotion in the poem was very clear. It flowed from one stanza to the next very nicely. My favorite stanza was:

    She struggles to her feet
    Life flings another blow
    She collapses on the ground
    The tears begin to flow

The poem was sad but great. 5/5
