Whirlpool

by Josh Beal   Mar 28, 2007

It was just yesterday

that we were in 5th grade

When the girls had cooties

The games of tag at recess

But yesterday was a Final exam for an AP class

Time flies, flies faster and faster

I can't wait until I'm a grown up

I can't wait until I can drive

all these things

When you were younger

That stuff never seemed to come fast enough

Time going faster than ever

In the whirlpool of time

Getting closer to the end it just goes faster and faster

Wanting it to slow down

trying to go back with no prevail

taking it all in to late

learning those lessons to late

Time flies, flies faster and faster

Soon high school will be over

Living on you own

then you'll wonder where did it go

greatest time of your life

the friends that you'll never forget

Time flies, faster and faster

Faster and faster...
