Know

by Vincent Libin   Mar 28, 2007

Raindrops keep falling down,
without knowing why,
resting in the lap of nature.

Every second yells and whines
for a silent answer,
that is given, yet concealed.

While trees aren't breathing,
but begging for precious air,
I try to live, I try to bear.

I taste the dried-up salt
of my tears, but don't know
where it came from.

Unspoken words give
good advice by whispering
the wind in your ear.

You hear my voice,
but don't listen, don't
answer my honest love.

I just have to wait, just
like you, though
why should you forget
what you already know?
