You Took More Then Just A Glove

by Tasha   Mar 29, 2007

I have some unfilled paper, and an unused pen.
Because without you i have no one to which these love notes to send.
I hum only a tune, for I don't know the words.
I can't sing unfinished lines, since you left my world.

I can not seem to remember where I left my other glove.
Since I let you borrow them, then you ran away with my love.
I don't even bother leaving the porch light on.
Leave me in the dark, since you have been gone.

I can't stand to look at the stars at the park.
For that was your favorite thing to do once dark.
Avoiding certain down town streets,
because they hold to many memories.

I can't find a reason to smile anymore.
Since you took my love and walked through the door.
I don't know where you went, where did you go?
I'm afraid of being lost, for this is one answer I don't know. -
