I'm locked inside myself
So my mind can run free
Locked inside myself
Away from reality

I'm locked inside myself
There are bars to my soul
They keep me from coming out
So pain is never a toll

I'm locked inside myself
And no one can tell
Because I hide behind the smile
Thats on my outer shell

I'm locked inside myself
Because no one wants me around
So I slip away
Never to be found

So for now I'll slip away
Into a world for only me
Lock myself in a cage
To which no one has the key
