Forsaken

by ~*~ColdHope~*~   Apr 2, 2007

Like insects attacking the vital organs of my life,
You suck the marrow of hope and faith out of my soul.

Leaving a being that no longer cares for feelings.

A spirit searching for love in all the wrong places.

Finding injustice, aggravations and elisions.

Taking it in,
As if its all theres left in a world,
When you're so low you feel life you're soaring into the hellish skies of your own immortality.

Like a demonic angel.

Tattered feathers and a broken pair of fairy wings.

Skimming the surface of a forgotten pond.

Dead fish staring at you,
Asking for forgiveness for there disobedience.

Taking you to rock bottom,
Seeing the victim for once pleading for a release from there personal binding chains.

Excepting defeat as you plummet into the icy cold water.

Falling like a stone to its bottomless pits,

Watching all your disappointments and disillusions pass you by.

And as the air leaves your lungs,

All the emotions that had left your body,
Hope, pain, faith, justice, all, come rushing back as you take your last breath.

To late.....

You've been forsaken,
You're still breathing.
