Babylon {Ode}

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Apr 3, 2007

Sing to me a song,
Nightingale of Babylon;
A voice of the gods.

Precious angel,
Whisper stories
By nights long gone
Of your sweet sin;
Oh please, pull me in.

I do not mind,
To hold your kiss,
Within my thoughts.
My heart is true,
I will wait [for you.]

Dear Nightingale,
Do not fear the fast pacing hours;
I will stray no further
Than your heart.

Precious angel,
Whisper stories
By nights long gone
Of your sweet sin;
Oh please, pull me in.

    Hm this was a preaty good poem.. Not the best but that might also be because I'm not to sure what Babylon means and I dont have a dictionary with me here. The only thing that I can critique on is I didnt really get the feeling of immense glory. Nice job otherwise though.

    That was really nice the lines

    (Pull me in free from sin)
    That was very well done. there wasn't much of a story line to it. That was disappointing but it was soothing Good job Plot121
