Missing Old Friends

by Slowly I Disappear   Apr 5, 2007

Friends, Are they worth it
When they stab you in the back
And when they ignore you
And feeling they seem to lack

Yes we all know
Not all friends are than mean
But when they really hurt you
It makes you want to scream

I love these few friends
But it seems they've lost their hearts
They always seem to hurt me
And it's tearing me apart

I'm sure they do not know
How much it hurts to be ignored
By friends you've known so long
And it seems you don't know them anymore

It seems they've changed too much
To consider them friends
It's like they don't seem to know me
And I wish this all was pretend

I miss their care-free smiles
Their cheerful and soft laughs
The way they were always happy
And how their eyes could show their wrath

Being replaced by other people
Always hurts in the end
And I will carry on this burden
Because I love these friends.
