**From Mat to me**

Like a ray of light,
That's brought into my day,
You open my heart,
With every word you have to say.

Like the sound of the ocean,
And the waves crashing strong,
Our hearts create a melody,
That's like a beautiful song.

Like the rainfall thats needed,
To help plants grow,
My love does the same,
With each action you show.

Like the first snowfall,
That comes every year,
I need you forever,
To hold me near.

Like a morning that goes by,
Without birds chirping a song,
A life without you,
For me would be wrong.
