I can't reach my Star!!!

It's stitting in the midnight sky miles and miles away.
Aglow it is all by it's self.
I gaze at it night after night capture by its shimmer.
Wishing hoping that one day it will be mine.
I reach up in the air arms out hoping I can embrace it.
With no avail to high to far out of reach it is.
I lay in bed looking though my window at it knowing i'll never be able to hold it.
So I have decided to name this star..."Amanda" will be it's name.
For this is the person in my life that is out of reach of me.
