Imperfection

You hide from the world
To afraid to look at yourself
You walk out of your way
To avoid a mirror
Everyone else seems so perfect
so beautiful
you feel
like a weed in a sea of roses
no one knows what it feels
like to be you
so ashamed
you do everything you can to
feel better
you read books and study hard
to get the good marks
but no recognition goes for that
all everyone cares about is whether your
a small and have the latest clothes
so you isolate yourself from the world
and days go by, months and years
you go unoticed
so finally you give up on yourself
and say goodbye to the world
it's been much to cruel to you
so say goodnight for the last time
and prepare to be noticed for the first time
