I Never Will Forget You

I never will forget you;
No matter how hard I try.
Looking back at the things we've been through;
I always break down and cry.

Between your girls and my guys,
We were there for each other.
Never asking "How?" or "Why?"
We were closer than sister and brother.

I could never imagine that you would leave;
I knew that we'd never be apart.
If someone were to tell me, I wouldn't believe,
But now I'm standing here with a broken heart.

We were so close, but she got in our way,
You took her side and left me all alone.
I hope one day that we'd be okay,
But I guess I just should've known.

I love you, but more as a friend;
I guess she just didn't understand.
And now, our friendship is nearing an end
Because you left me and took her hand.

I never meant to get in the way,
But I see that now we are through.
Maybe you'll come back to me one day,
But for now, I Never Will Forget You.

    Aweh Darling, no matter how hard it is, we have got to realize that a true friend would never do that to someone as amazing as you. You don't deserve that, you are worth more than that and a friend that makes you cry and breaks your heart isn't worth the tears and heartache.
