His Name Inside Of A Heart

by KelseyinWonderland   Apr 8, 2007

It's time again,
I feel it pulsing through my veins.
The blood is calling now tonight,
It's going to leave a stain.

I'm rushing to find sanctuary,
Within my razor blade.
We're closer than we've ever been,
Together, the scars we've made.

We're hiding in the bathroom,
Cutting on the invisible dotted lines.
Only visible to the cutter itself,
The image is all mine.

The fountain that appears,
The sight that I behold.
The razor blade is smirking,
It's reputation to uphold.

True to it's word,
I'm feeling the pain.
But that doesn't matter,
The blood is mine to claim.

My accomplice is you,
My razor blade, my friend.
When others walked out,
You walked in.

You cured the hurt,
You cured the cruelty.
And like you promised,
You did your duty.

I have the scars to prove it,
I have the memories to share.
I'm not ashamed of my work,
It's going no where.

Aligned up and down,
Imprinted on my arms.
No one could stop me,
I didn't do any harm.

My scars are healing,
I'll open them up.
I'll cut my arms with my razor blade,
Until I'm sure I've bled enough.

Staining the perfect white tiles,
On the bathroom floor.
I haven't cut enough,
So I'll cut some more.

When I'm done,
I'll lay the razor blade to my side.
I'll watch the blood fall,
Filling me with pride.

My masterpeice is finished,
I planned this from the start.
The image I carved out,
HIS name inside of a heart.
